The Canadian Professional Rodeo Association is pleased to announce that Kyle Rock is returning to the organization in the role of Interim Operations Manager.

Rock brings both a rodeo and business background to the position. A third-generation cowboy, Rock was a two time Canadian Intercollegiate Bareback Champion and a many time finalist in three semi- professional associations (the FCA, LRA and CCA). He was twice FCA season leader and was named 2013 Foothills Cowboy Association Cowboy of the Year. Rock also served for six years on the FCA Board of Directors and worked as a rodeo judge. The Airdrie, Alberta resident also served as CPRA Rodeo Administrator for a period of time earlier this year.

Rock attended Mount Royal College (Applied Communications degree program majoring in Journal- ism) and Olds College where he studied Land Resource Management majoring in Land Reclamation. He spent five years in the Oil and Gas industry – in sales, account management and contract negotia- tions.

Rock is excited to return to the CPRA, “I’m looking forward to working with the staff, the Board, CPRA members and all our partners as we move ahead. We have a great team already in place at the CPRA. And we’re hard at work preparing for the Cinch Pro Series Final and the 2016 CFR.”
