Danielle Bradbery Set To Debut First Single “The Heart of Dixie” on July 16
By: Matt Bjorke
Danielle Bradbery is wasting no time getting her debut single out to Country radio as the winner of The Voice’s 4th season cycle will be releasing her first single “The Heart of Dixie” to digital retailers on July 16, according to MJ’s Big Blog. The singer is in the studio working with songwriter Brett James (he is Kip Moore’s producer too). James co-wrote “The Heart of Dixie” with close friend Troy Verges (“I Want Crazy” “Blessed”) and Caitlyn Smith (“Wasting All These Tears”).
Bradbery, who has a natural twang that endeared her to middle America during her run On The Voice, was quickly signed to Republic Nashville, joining fellow #TeamBlake member and The Voice 3rd season winner, The Band Perry, Eli Young Band and Greg Bates on the label which is a 50-50 partnership between Big Machine Label Group and Republic Records (formerly Universal Republic). The singer was often the top vote-getter on the show and is reportedly hoping to emulate Carrie Underwood’s career, “I guess I’d like to be this generation’s Carrie Underwood,” when asked the question.
Danielle Bradbery will release her debut Republic Nashville album in the fall.
