Blake Shelton’s latest single, “Came Here To Forget,” has been brought to life in a brand new music video.

The video debuted in conjunction with the season 12 premiere of Discovery’s Deadliest Catch. The black-and-white clip shows a snapshot of a couple’s chance meeting at a beach bar.

“I’ve had a lot of music over the years but I don’t think I’ve ever had a song before that’s such a direct look into my life,” said Shelton of the song written by Craig Wiseman and Deric Ruttan when it was announced. “That’s why I’m so excited about this particular song.”

“Came Here To Forget” is the lead single from Shelton’s upcoming albumIf I’m Honest. The record is set for release on May 20.

Fans can catch Shelton on Sunday, April 3 at the 51st Annual ACM Awards, where he is set to perform.
