Texas Hill Country Restaurant Offering Dinner Trips on Willie Nelson’s Tour Bus

If you’re a Willie Nelson superfan, you’ll want to pack your bags and plan a visit to Austin, Texas this fall.

Apis Restaurant has launched “Willie Wednesdays”, a special excursion that takes fans on a trip aboard the former Willie Nelson’s Family Band tour bus.

Visitors board the bus outside of Austin City Limits Live and take a ride from downtown Austin to the scenic town of Spicewood, located in the Texas Hill Country. From there, guests move from the bus and into the restaurant for a delicious three-course meal. The event was made possible through a partnership with a local rental company, Vintage Innovations, that owns and operates the bus and also employs Nelson’s granddaughter, Rebecca Thomas.

“When we heard about Willie’s Family Band bus and what Rebecca, Willie’s granddaughter, was offering through Vintage Innovations, we saw an opportunity to welcome people in Austin to what Spicewood has to offer,” Casie Hall, restaurant co-owner said.

Willie Wednesdays will take place Sept. 30 through Nov. 18. Fans can reserve their tickets for $150, which includes transportation to and from the restaurant, dinner, one drink, taxes and gratuity. You’ll want to book your reservation quickly, as there are only 20 spots available each week. To find out more about this special Willie Nelson experience, visit the Apis Restaurant website.
